Temperatures in Spartanbury, SC have lingered around 108 degrees this weekend. And, we're holding back on the AC usage as much as possible. We haven't melted yet, but it's been a sweaty one. Lake Bowen has been a nice retreat, but you know it's how when it's starting to feel like a giant hot tub.
You also know it's hot when your youngest is talking himself to sleep, saying to his blanket, "No Ducky. Go Away...too hot."

And, you know it's how when we linger in the dollar theater after the show, enjoying the AC while the kids pretend to play the video games to their hearts content.
And, you know it's hot when something green leaks from our car, it overheats, we panic and believe that our finances are completely blown, until we remember that it is 108 degrees outside and Jonny and the boys probably shouldn't be idling with the AC on full blast while I'm in the library. Thank heavens (cross our fingers) it was just the heat.
