Funny

You think you know your child and all of the cute and funny things you expect him do to to entertain you throughout the day. Then he pulls something like this out of his bag of tricks. Am I the only one who could be content watching this video over and over all night long?

Fun Signs
(Fun things, according to Aaron and his family)

Funny:
Use your pointer and middle finger to brush the tip of your nose repeatedly, keeping your fingers strait while repeating the motion. Also, crinkle your nose.

Fun:
Using your pointer and middle finger, touch the tip of your nose, then move them downward to touch the pointer and middle finger of your opposite hand, as shown.
Read:
One hand is kept flat like a book. The other hand uses the pointer and middle finger in a brushing motion, forward and backward, to scan the book. It's like your fingers are your eyes, reading the page of the book up and down.

Book:
Just like you are opening and closing a book, repeat the motion from close to open twice.

Ball:
Open your hands wide, facing the fingers toward each other, like you've got a ball in the middle of them. Then, touch your fingers together. Repeat the motion.

Football:
Face your palms toward each other, then "crash" your fingers together, interweaving them. Use a double motion. It's as if two opposing scrimmage lines are colliding. Go BYU.
Soccer:
One hand makes a fist, like it's a ball. The other hand is flat, like a foot. The flat hand then moves up to the fist and bumps it, like the foot is kicking the ball.
Basketball:
Make a "three" shape with both hands. Tuck only your fourth and fifth finger in, and loosely straiten the other three fingers. Then tilt both hands forward while holding the three position. Repeat the motion. Think of it as holding the ball with those three fingers and throwing it forward with a quick flick forward.
Walk:
Your pointer and middle finger are the "legs" and they alternate as your hand moves forward to show a person walking.

Run
Make two "L" shapes with your hands and lock the pointer finger of one hand to the thumb of the other. Bend and straiten the other pointer and thumb as you move your hands in the direction you are pointing.
Swing:
Using your pointer and middle fingers, one set wraps around the other, like legs sitting on a swing. Then, both hands swing up and down with the fingers wrapped as shown, just like someone is swinging.
Swim:
Curl hands and move them outward, in a swimming motion.

Music:
Keep one palm open, facing upward and stable. The other hand sweeps back and forth, just above the stable hand. One hand is a "conductor" and one hand is the music.

Dancing:
Make "legs" with one hand while the other hand is the floor. Swing the legs from side to side, while keeping the other hand stable. (Make your fingers the dancer and make sure they swing from your wrist, side to side or it will look like "read").
Singing:
(what a beautiful sign). Touch your pointer and middle finger to your lips, then bend and straiten them as you pull them upward, away from your face. It's like the waves of music coming from the singer's lips.
Train:
Make a "V" shape with the pointer and middle finger on both of your hands and place them on top of each other. The bottom hand stays stationary while the top rubs back and forth. It's as if the bottom hand is the track and the top is the train chugging back and forth on the tracks.
Toy
This is spelled. Do you know the ASL alphabet?
Kiss:
Fingers touch the side of the mouth, then touch the cheek, with the hand only slightly curved. Did I ever post this picture of Aaron's first kiss? Little Violet has won him over already! What fun.
